Cameron is a composer, sound designer and musician based in Dublin. He makes work for theatre, and also releases his own music as State Actor.

Selected credits include It Was Paradise, Unfortunately (Dublin Fringe 2024, The Collective); Happy Capital (Dublin Fringe 2024); Duckie (Spraoi Festival 2024); Mosh (Norfolk and Norwich Festival 2024); Revolutionary (Volya Theatre, Stavanger Konserthus); Gold In The Water (Project Arts Centre, Dublin); The Saviour (Cork Midsummer Festival, Landmark Productions); Miasma (ANU); Some Names Were Changed (Dublin Fringe, 15th Oak); Cleft (Galway International Arts Festival, Rough Magic); Bears in Space (59e59 Theaters New York, Soho Theatre London and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Collapsing Horse); Gladys and The Gutter Stars (Dublin Fringe); The Water Orchard (Collapsing Horse); Before Monsters Were Made (15th Oak); Everything Between Us (Rough Magic) and Way To Heaven (Rough Magic SEEDS).

He also has experience composing for film, regularly collaborating with Vah Vah Films. Most recently he provided original music, sound editing and music supervision for ‘With Compliments From The Gentlemen Across The Bar In Oman,’ which had its festival premiere in Boyne Valley Film Festival 2024. He also wrote the music for ‘Rebecca’s Boyfriend’ (Vah-Vah Films), which premiered in Indie Cork in 2021.
